Go Well, Nerys.
It is with great saddness that I write this. On friday morning/thursday evening a most amazing lady passed away. Nerys was very much the main force behind this revamped version of the DUST team and has been there for many of us when we were new to DUST and etsy and feeling very lost.

Always young at heart, Nerys has been travelling throughout Australia for the past 15 years with her husband. Her passion for creating, whole foods, the healing properties of herbs and essential oils as well as her wisdom and generous soul will be well remembered, she will be missed greatly.
Nerys wished that people would send donations to the Royal Flying doctor in place of flowers. The ceremony was at 4pm Wed 20th at the Bunbury crematorium.

I’m sorry to say I didn’t have any contact with Nerys but I’d like to send my best wishes to Nerys’s family and the Dust and Etsy members who knew her. I’m sure Nerys will find a Dust community in Heaven to share with.

when I read the message in my inbox that said blog updated memorial for Nerys…..I thought ‘not our Nerys’…not THE Nerys.
She was the first person to welcome me to dust, the first person to offer me advice and encouragement and one who never judged, criticized or made any one feel insignificant.
I can’t believe the world has lost another fabulous soul…
She will be sadly missed.

I never got to communicate with Nerys personally as I am a newish addition to the DUST team but can sense that she was a driving force and well loved amongst DUSTers. May Peace, Light and Love be with her family and those who held her dear in their hearts.

I’m so sad to hear this news
Nerys was an inspiring woman, starting her online business up in her 70’s, she always enthusiastic about her craft and her ‘gypsy’ life style
may she continue to be an inspiration to us
Rest in peace Nerys

Truly an inspiration, and she was always so kind and willing to share.
A lovely tribute, Hannah.
I’m sure she’ll be missed by very many.
And I always loved her signing off words “go well”.
Yes indeed – go well, Nerys.

I remember discovering etsy.com and falling in love with Nerys’ felted bags – then discovering her many published works, her flower remedies, her soaps, her photographs. And amongst all this creativity were her beloved family, and long time friends. Nerys knew how to live fully, with passion. What an example for us all. My love to all those who are feeling this loss.

I was shocked by this news and deeply saddened. I too was welcomed by Nerys and had many email convos with her. I purchased her tutorials. I admired her work and her ‘gypsy’ lifestyle.
Go well Nerys.

Goodbye Nerys xo

I am saddened and shocked to read of Nerys’ passing. I never knew her “in person” although had had some correspondence with her about DUST issues.
She was such an inspiration lady and my heart goes out to her family.

It is so beautiful to see the legacy she has left. She has been such an inspiration to me even though I never got to meet her in person.
